*** KATRIBU (KAlikasan at TRIbu: BUhayin.) *** of the Lake Galilee of KATRIBU (KAtutubong TRIbu ng BUlakan), Inc.

The KATRIBU, Inc. is a mission to empower the marginalized sectors of our society in Bulacan province known as the Dumagat indigenous people (Agta & Alta / Remontados) who live in far flung 19 settlements in Sierra Madre Ranges located in two towns and one city of the province. (Doña Remedios Trinidad DRT, Norzagaray, & City of San Jose Del Monte) For almost 10 years as a non-profit, non-governmental organization and a church based organization we purely depend on assistance, donations, government grants, funding from big foundations and the generosity of other people as we try our best to put such funds into a sustainable programs and projects. We don't want to remain in dole out policy. We only ask help to sustain our livelihood for we believe that the Dumagat were able to live on their own if we just allow their indigenous culture and forest free from Tagalog intervention.

Our center known as Lake Galilee of KATRIBU located in Igay Provincial road, brgy. San Roué, city of San Jose Del Monte is a combination of Dumagat, environmental and reformatory center which were made due to the integration concept of Lake Galilee and KATRIBU.

Two issues that very close to the KATRIBU is the issue of environment and Dumagat. We want to empower the poor people Dumagat so that in the future they will be to manage the center and their sierra Madre protection from its destruction and encroachment of non-IPs. And we cannot do this alone without your support no matter how little it is in the eyes of the world. You can share your talents, time and treasures since this is a mission from our part.

Despite the difficulties of our economy and seeming impossible to protect the sierra Madre and empower the Dumagat we never loose hope and we keep on trusting that God will touch you to help us or join us in this noble mission.

Please trust us in this endeavor since we have our own track records. We don’t need a person with a messianic complex. For even in our poverty we can still help the Dumagat and save the Sierra Madre in our little way even though we are poor and small.

And whatever you can contribute / do or pledge financially to our program and activities us, we will appreciate it. And we invite you to our community. God loves people who are cheerful giver.
